The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first baby in the spring.






Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be expecting their first child. The baby will be born in spring 2019 and will be the seventh in line to the throne. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the news as they began their first royal tour together. The couple have landed in Australia and will also visit New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga during their 16 day trip. I think this is an example of soft news because it is about the Royal Family and their exciting new. The whole article talks about how Kensington Palace announced the news and that it is up to the Queen if their child will receive the title of prince of princess.The audience pleasures would be diversion as some people like to read about the Royal family. I don't think this is an example of clickbait  because it is sharing some very important news to the public, however, I also don't think this is an example of quality journalism because some people are genuinely not interested where as some people would celebrate the news.
