Mark: 11 Grade: B WWW: You have captured the look and feel of ‘Paper’ magazine very effectively and your image creates brilliant eye-contact with the audience. I agree with your evaluation – the lighting is very successful and the image is the strongest part of the cover but the text and masthead also work well. EBI: I would also agree with your criticism – it is the background to the image that holds this back from the top levels. The curtain/chair in the far background just takes away the professional edge we’re looking for but this is a good lesson for future reference. The quality of the image also looks a little grainy when compared to the genuine ‘Paper’ covers you’ve put it alongside – something to consider in future with regards to equipment, lighting, location etc.
