1) How do representations in  Oh Comely  challenge stereotypes?  Oh Comely challenges stereotypes because they reinforce the idea of body confidence. Oh Comely features a model on the front cover who is wearing minimal make up which suggests that they represent women in a more 'natural' way. It looks as if there hasn't been any editing on the picture which reinforces the 'natural' vibe Oh Comely is trying to portray.  2) What representations of race, ethnicity and nationality can be found in the 'Speaking Out' feature? Oh Comely provides a diverse and positive representation of race, ethnicity and nationality. 3) What representation of women and femininity can be found in  Oh Comely ? Women and femininity is represented in a very positive way. The women are seen as powerful and confident through Oh Comely. The typeface used looks as if it has been handwritten or sort of done with a paintbrush, this adds a personal touch and feeling making the readers feel more welcomed an apart of the magazine. 2) The words under the title introduce the content and topics addressed. What do these suggest about the potential audience of Oh Comely ?
